Jessalyn Sarah Gilsig is a Canadian actress. She is best known for her roles as Lauren Davis in Boston Public, Gina Russo in Nip/Tuck, Terri Schuester in Glee, and Siggy Haraldson in Vikings.

Gilsig completed her high school education at the Trafalgar School. After completing her high school education at the Trafalgar School in Montreal, Gilsig enrolled at McGill University in 1989.
Gilsig earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from McGill in 1993 after completing her studies there. In addition to that, she enrolled in Harvard University’s Advanced Theatre Training program.
Gilsig started in the entertainment industry as a voice actress. She has provided her voice for several roles in movies and television series, including Young Robin Hood and Masquerade.
Gilsig’s father is also a writer and translator. At the age of twelve, she had her acting debut in the role of a voice actor in the production of Masquerade by the National Film Board of Canada.
