Danai Gurira is an American-Zimbabwean actress and playwright. She has been acting since 2004 and has starred in several movies and TV shows.
She is best known for her starring roles as Michonne on the AMC horror drama series The Walking Dead and as Okoye in the Marvel Cinematic Universe superhero films, Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War (both in 2018), Avengers: Endgame (2019), and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022).
