Since graduating from Toi Whakkaari in 2007, Byron has solidified his career as a stage and movie actor. His filmography also includes Terry Teo, Jack and the Giant Slayer, Tangiwai, Field Punishment, and the highly regarded Top of the Lake.
He has played on stage with the Auckland Theatre Company, Silo Theatre, and New Zealand Opera. His voice can be recognized as a possum from the humorous Toyota ads. He has been Tim in Mastercard’s award-winning All Black advertisements since 2012.
