American voice actress, author, and director Wendee Lee. Before starting to perform professionally as a teenager, Lee studied both dance and theater. She reportedly started performing voices in school and got in trouble for it, according to her interview on the Magic Knight Rayearth DVDs.
She played Vanessa Leeds, one of the operators of the SDF-1 Macross, in Robotech, a production of Harmony Gold from the 1980s. Additionally, she worked with Streamline on a number of anime projects, including Dragon Ball.
