The famous Leonard Joseph Fournette III is an American football running back for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League. He played college football for the LSU Tigers and was drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars with the fourth overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.
In Week 6, against the Philadelphia Eagles, Fournette had 127 scrimmage yards and two rushing touchdowns. Against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 12, Fournette rushed for 100 yards, had 31 receiving yards, and had four total touchdowns in the 38–31 win, earning NFC Offensive Player of the Week.
He suffered a hamstring injury in Week 15 and was placed on injured reserve on December 23, 2021. Fournette finished the 2021 season with 812 rushing yards and eight rushing touchdowns to go along with 69 receptions for 454 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns.
