The famous Brandin Tawan Cooks is an American football wide receiver for the Houston Texans of the National Football League. He played college football at Oregon State, where he received consensus All-American honors, and was selected by the New Orleans Saints in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft.
Cooks entered the season as a starting wide receiver for the Texans. He started the season with five receptions for a season-high 132 receiving yards in a 37–21 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Throughout the season, he was a very consistent option for the Texans, totaling eight games with over five receptions, four total games with at least 100 receiving yards, and five games with at least one touchdown. He finished the season as the leading receiver, recording a career-high 90 catches with 1,037 yards and six touchdowns.
He became the third player in franchise history to have consecutive 1,000-yard receiving seasons.
