Chase Joseph McLaughlin is an American football placekicker for the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League (NFL). Chase played college football at Illinois. After going undrafted in 2019, McLaughlin spent time on five different rosters during the season, three of them as injury replacements.

On December 4, 2019, McLaughlin was claimed off waivers by the Indianapolis Colts due to an injury to starter Adam Vinatieri. On December 30, 2019, McLaughlin was signed to a one-year extension through 2020. On September 5, 2020, McLaughlin was waived by the Colts during final roster cuts.

McLaughlin signed with the practice squad of the Indianapolis Colts on September 13, 2022, after the team released Rodrigo Blankenship. He was promoted to the active roster on October 4.

Cypress Woods High School was where Chase McLaughlin studied (TX). On November 7, 2019, McLaughlin signed a contract with the San Francisco 49ers as a result of kicker Robbie Gould’s quad injury. McLaughlin made three out of four field goals in Week 10’s Monday Night Football game against the Seattle Seahawks, which resulted in a loss of 27-24 in overtime.
