Haack later played for the Buffalo Bills for one season before switching to the Colts in 2022.

From 2013 until 2016, Haack attended Arizona State and competed in college football there. In the 2013 season, he split punting duties with Alex Garoutte, Dom Vizzare, and Taylor Kelly.

He ended up with 16 punts for 612 net yards, good for a 38.3 average. He handled the majority of the punting responsibilities in the 2014 campaign, with Taylor Kelly and Mike Bercovici handling the remaining tasks. He totalled 53 punts for 2,296 net yards, averaging 43.3 yards per punt.
