Kwon Alexander, a linebacker with the National Football League’s New York Jets, was born on August 3, 1994.
His college football career was spent at Louisiana State University. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers selected him in the fourth round of the 2015 NFL Draft. Alexander has also suited up for the New Orleans Saints and San Francisco 49ers.

In Oxford, Alabama, Alexander went to Oxford High School. Alexander, a significant contributor on the defensive side of the ball, missed most of his senior season in 2011 due to a knee injury after finishing his junior year with 144 tackles, 17 sacks, and six caused turnovers (three of which were recovered).
With a record of 12-2, Oxford advanced to the AHSAA Class 6A state semifinals where they were defeated by Marlon Humphrey’s Hoover 32-22. Alexander played for the black team in the Under Armour All-American game.
He was selected as a finalist for the High School Butkus Award, which honors the best linebacker in the country each year. Additionally, he received an honorable mention on the Class 6A All-State Football Team and was named to the 2011 ESPN All-Alabama Football Team.
