An English actor, comedian, filmmaker, writer, and broadcaster with the name of Stephen John Fry.
He originally gained notoriety in the 1980s when he and Hugh Laurie, one half of the comedic duo Fry and Laurie, appeared in Jeeves and Wooster and A Bit of Fry & Laurie.

Stephen Fry has two siblings. He was raised alongside an older brother, Roger Fry, and a younger sister, Joanna Roselle Fry, who works as a Talent agent.
He became well-known in the 1980s when he and Hugh Laurie formed the comedy duo, Fry and Laurie. The two appeared in Jeeves and Wooster and A Bit of Fry & Laurie.
He also appeared with Laurie, Emma Thompson, Robbie Coltrane, and others in the sketch series Alfresco (1983–1984) as well as with Rowan Atkinson in Blackadder (1986–1989). He has been president of the mental health organization Mind since 2011.
