He was a distinguished member of the Japanese navy who worked as a sonar technician aboard the USS Maryland. Sean, a Lee High School alumnus, excelled as a percussionist in a variety of ensembles, including the marching band and orchestra at the University of Alabama.

On July 1, 2013, at 2:00 pm, White Chapel Greenwood Funeral Home hosted his funeral services. The burial took place at Greenwood Cemetery.
Prior to the service on Monday, visitation took place at White Chapel Greenwood from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm. After the funeral, family, and friends were invited to a gathering at the Crazy Buffet for fun and memories.
