According to credible sources, former Japanese professional wrestler Antonio Inoki passed on at the age of 79.

One of the most well-known wrestlers in Japan, Inoki, famously battled Muhammad Ali in a mixed martial art match over four decades and a half ago.

His death has undeniably caused quite a stir on several social media platforms. At the moment what many seek is to know exactly what happened to him.

Antonio Inoki dies: Cause of death revealed

Prior to the death of Inoki, he was believed to have suffered from the rare disease called amyloidosis.

According to research amyloidosis is an uncommon condition that develops when amyloid protein builds up in organs. Organ dysfunction may result from this amyloid accumulation. The heart, kidneys, liver, spleen, neurological system, and digestive tract are some of the organs that could be impacted.

Inoki started the New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), a business that promotes Japanese wrestling, in 1972. On Saturday(October 1), the NJPW tweeted that it was very grieved by Inoki’s passing.
