Paul Wernick is a Canadian producer and screenwriter for both movies and television. He is best known for penning the screenplays for the superhero movies Deadpool from 2016 and its follow-up in 2018 with his collaborator Rhett Reese.
Several network reality programmes, including Big Brother 2 on CBS and I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here on ABC, was created by Wernick. Wernick’s experience in news, which included producing stints at KVOA, KOLD, KTVK, KSL, and KCAL, has earned him three Emmy Awards.
