Dale McRaven, the director best known for “Perfect Strangers” and “Mork & Mindy,” has passed away. He was 83.
After his son, David McRaven, announced his passing, McRaven permanently quit the business and the globe. He informed The Hollywood Reporter in an exclusive statement that the father died on September 5 at his Porter Ranch, California, residence.
According to David, his father passed away from complications related to the lung cancer he had been battling for years.
The condition develops when cancer first appears in a person’s lungs, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. It may then spread to the lymph nodes and other organs from there. In addition to others, some of its symptoms include coughing that gets worse over time, chest pain, weight loss, exhaustion, and coughing up blood.
