She died on September 9 after a nearly two-year fight with advanced-stage cancer caused by a rare gene mutation.

Ross began her career with Lionsgate in 2001, reporting to Nick Meyer, who is now eOne’s President of Film.

In 2012, Ross was appointed EVP of International Sales at Lionsgate. She was designated President of Pantelion Films in 2014, where she oversaw the company’s International Sales division for the first four years following its inception. Eugenio Derbez’s Instructions Not Included was the highest-earning Mexican production of all time, grossing $44.4 million in the United States and $100.5 million globally.

Ross was the CEO of TLC Wellness from 2018 till her death.

She also co-founded a portfolio of business- and consumer-facing health and wellness enterprises, which has been a lifelong passion of hers.

She has also worked as an expert counsel to the National Bank of Canada in the entertainment industry, with a particular emphasis on international assessments of independent film material.

Ross moved on to co-found Parents of Preemies Day-Los Angeles, a five-year fundraising and awareness event held at UCLA Santa Monica Hospital. She also spearheaded the collaboration with the Westchester Rotary Club to generate funding for the renovation of The Westchester Townhouse. The nonprofit community center for children in Los Angeles’ Westchester area continues to organize meetings and events.
