Edwards-Helaire carried 58 times for 496 yards and 10 touchdowns as a senior and was awarded the 5A State Championship Game MVP after receiving eight catches for 161 yards and running for 88 yards and a score in the Bears’ 31-28 victory over Archbishop Rummel High School.
Edwards-Helaire, a four-star prospect, has committed to play collegiate football at Louisiana State University.
